Going through old photos I came across this shot. It is a photo I took from the deck of my house back in Colorado. I just put up a couple feeders and the hummingbirds made great photo subjects. This one almost looks like a diorama…

Aw, great shot, Greg. And I never knew that rattlesnakes have blue tongues…is it just that particular species?
I’m not sure Ruth… That is a prairie rattlesnake at our ranch north of Boulder (we move the rattlesnakes away from the horses). I’ll have to look closer next time I encounter a diamondback here in AZ where I’m working =0)
