One summer I was lucky enough to photograph and video two separate bullsnake mating events. Below are photos from one of the events. If you click on the first photo it will take you to my YouTube video of the other one. Click the other photos to learn more about bullsnakes.
Bullsnakes are considered a subspecies of the gopher snake and are found throughout the central U.S. The snakes in my photos and video were found near Boulder, Colorado. As you can see, they were so wrapped up in what they were doing I was able to get pretty close.
